DIY - Canister Labelling Project

Do you have so many canisters filled with white stuff and sometimes you can't tell what is what?
i know that when my confinement lady was cooking for me, she mistook my white sugar for salt!! but it wasn't her fault because it was placed side by side and both were white.

but after awhile, yah she got used to the position. think it was left sugar, right salt.
hmm.
was it the other way around???
actually I'm not very sure myself too!!!

anyway, here's a quick DIY which i did for my canister project.
I printed the labels on a sticker using my printer.
Sticker was bought from Popular Bookshop.

DIY - Moppe Project - Finished Look!

Dear all!

I've finally finished my DIY vintage drawer from an IKEA moppe. This will come in nifty for keeping all my crafty items plus hubs has his own little drawers too.

And I'm pretty pleased with my accomplished look!

here are some of the details:
I've printed some coloured paper and used my own handwriting for "his" and "hers"

here's a closer look at the edges of the drawers where i've sand down to give it a worn out look, so that it will appear to look old. 

And i bought a cherry wood varnish from HomeFix for a new coat of paint.

Craft materials - pins!

Spotlight is having a 30% storewide sale and I simply couldn't resist getting my hands on this cute box of pins!
the pin head comes in 3 different designs - ribbon, button and something shaped like a flower.
And it comes in pastel colours!!! So sweet!!!

sigh.
makes me want to sew!

DIY- Leather Lunch Bag

 it's where the leather is from.

DIY - Felt Flowers

My hands are just itching to do some handicraft! and i chanced upon this website where it teaches you how to do Felt flowers and it looked so pretty! So i must have one done too for myself and if ever for my daughter!!!

 Here's a white version which reminds me of Marc Jacob's Daisy! Really love this one!

I'm going to sew a hair clip and brooch clasp onto them so that i can use them as a hair accessory and brooch too!

Felt Cactus Pin Cushion!

Lovingly hand sewn and stitched by Hubs!!

for me to put my pins and needles...see first picture where it was nice and pretty until i gave it a therapy session of acupuncture!!!

cactus goes to the jingle of MacDonald's Mc Spicy Chicken : ah sst stt, ooh sst sst, shiok ah!

i'm not sure whether are they friends yet but ahren is pretty scare of this black fella...he must be wondering how come all his friends are so black like she-orh-orh!

mum says he looks like Elvis!
i think it's the high collar which hubs has made for him.

Hubs really is a patient guy, the whole felt toy is hand sewn stitch by stitch!
