New Nails for the NEW YEAR!

Got my nails done by myself and with the help of wj on new year's eve! Can save some $ here!!! Yippee YAY YAY!

W H A T- I - DI D :
Done up in my fave fushia pink dust in french manicure with lace overlay and shiny white pearls.
First i lay a coat of protective nail enamel, follow by drawing the french manicure at the tip of nail, dust it with powder, lay it to dry, cut lace to the correct length and stick it over.
Lay another coat of nail polish to protect the powder dust and lace. Let nails dry

Stick pearls one by one starting from the middle of the nail and work my way to the left and right so that it portions out equally.
Finally another coat of protective polish and I'm done! Quick way of drying is to put your fingers in a tub of ice cold water if you are running short of time. But of cos it's a really cold method!!! Don't say i didn't warn you.

hello once again on nail art!

here's my new fave! - lace!!! and so very lolita gothic. Black and white, very basic colours but very powerful when it come ornamentation.

and the best bit, it's really easy cos i bought lace "stick ons".

Just choose a shiny pink base (pink is always my shade...giggles)

Wait for it to dry, add a coat of protective nail enamel.

Afterwhich u are all set to stick your lace on!!! u can do it like mine, near the nail edge or you can do it slanted which i have seen them in jap magazines...with lots of crystals...really "wah wah" effect... but this time i decided to go simple...

so have fun!

Getting all geared up for the new year!

lots and lots of crystals, pearlies, dazzling dust and sparkies for my nails!!! Many people (even the manicurists) have mistook them for extensions or stick-ons..BUT they are my natural nails!!! *big grin*

We were browsing along Daiso at Plaza Sing and i bought the 'ribbons' and coloured beads for $2 per packet and box. Each packet came with 10 ribbons. They are selling pink and white ones.

As for the coloured beads, it comes in a box with 4 compartments and 4 different colours. Lots of beads in each compartment!

Can find most stuff at the "nails" department...i even found the nail glue to put these beads and ribbon stuff. And they last pretty long, about 3 weeks before the ribbons started dropping off first.

Nail that finger!

all by myself! Not bad huh...2 steady hands and 10 pretty fingers decorated with pink flowers and green leaves. It's a pity that i didnt have any crystals with me, if not they will be perfectly shining with bling-blings! And all the girls can envy me to their graves!

new nails for only $2.90!!! the pretty floral prints/stickers can be gotten almost from anywhere like chameleon, shops in far east, sinma etc.... althought these sticker prices have a range from $2.90 to $5.90! so check before u buy.

it's very easy to use! and after adhering the pretty patterns onto ur nails, just apply 2 coats of nail varnish to protect it and voila! new pretty nails and it's really up to ur creativity to mix and match the flowers and leaves...and of cos there are much more patterns then the ones u see on my nails!

It was quite an affording experience at VoxyNails (shop located at link of taka and wisma basement, besides Guess)...although the nail artist who did my nails wasnt very experienced but it was cheap. My manis cost me $12 and my pedis was only $14! a real bargain to be done in town area!
