a former Dutch Hill resort, 66km away from Medan at an altitude of 4600 feet. It is cool and pleasant town with unique Bataknese culture. Various hotels and resorts are available. This place is also favoured for the beauty of its mountain scenery, waterfall and hot spring.
Along the way, you can see strawberry plantations, coniferous greens, cottages. The drive up is not very pleasant as the roads are bumpy but the view here and cool weather makes up for the long treacherous ride up.
