Day 02 Saigon
okie i think i need to split Day 2 saigon into 3 parts! cos this is the day where we did a half day land tour with the local agency on Cu Chi Tunnels and the half day we went touring around Saigon city, seeing the Great Post Office; posting a postcard back...and making our way down to the War Remnants Museum...
so this part will just be dedicated to the morning half!
Dunno whether have u gals heard of Sinh Cafe, but this local tour agency is really popular with many tourists here!!! and its service is not bad, punctual, cheap and english speaking guided tours.
As the tour started really early...we went there really early and had breakfast at their Sinh Cafe, wj had his croissant plain with dark black coffee while i had my baguette with jam and butter! SO we waited at the cafe till it was time and left with our guide in a comfy coach.
The trip down to Cuchi tunnels took approx 1hr journey where there was a 'relax' and cultural stop at the Laquerware factory. This factory hires handicapped workers so make their wares...so it was really touching to see those physically disabled people using their own hands to earn a living instead of resorting to begging on the streets like many in bangkok or even china.
