We had a sumptous good time at Blue Ginger. A place for good peranankan food.
Here's what we ordered
For starters we had Ngo Heong. It was delicious, filled with loads of minced meat and prawns with crunchy water chestnuts for the extra bite! Fried to perfection and with a dip of the black sweet sauce. A tangy mix of sweet and salty...it was a perfect combination of tastes.
Next was Bakwan Kepeting Soup. A traditional recipe of minced pork and crabmeat shaped into meatballs accompanied with bamboo shoots. This was served per pax. Abit costly but it was really good, full bodied stock.
Since it was Father's Day, definitely we need to order something which daddy likes right? So we got a Beef Rendang. One dish which can never go wrong. Chap Chye for my sister who's quite intolerant of anything spicy and hot. Another dish which the whole family loves - Ayam Buah Keluak!!! This one remains an all time favourite in the Yeo family, except for mummy. Last but not least, steamed seabass in nonya style.
and to top it off, chendol to share as we were all very full from the many dishes which we have ordered!
