Using a casserole instead of claypot, the same recipe which you can find online can be applied here.
The rice doesn't stick to the pot base at all and the rice turned out good too, although no charred rice but hey, it's more healthy this way! The taste comes mostly from the sauce to drip it over the rice.

other tips: good wined chinese sausages and thick flower chinese mushrooms also adds flavour, robustness and texture to the this dish.

Velle Cooks | Japanese Curry with baked pork chop

I'm clearing my annual leave till Christmas and so I'm putting my culinary skills to the test. Not that I have much! hahah.

The japanese curry is from premade curry cubes which you can find at all supermarkets. I got mine from a Japanese mart which was closing down at Marina Square, so it was going quite cheap. To cook this dish, you just need to get your potatoes, carrots, grated apple and onions.

For meat, you can add chicken or pork into the curry, but hubs wanted fried pork chop!!! And I don't like to fry things in my kitchen because it's quite a hassle to clean everything up, from cupboards, stove, countertop, backsplash and floor.

So i went to google and found a baked pork chop!!! OMG. For this, you need egg, flour and breadcrumbs. Very easy but also a hassle cos you have to make this separately.

And I had to cook rice too! So what I thought was a 30min quick fast meal, turned out to be almost an hour long.

Eyelash Extension | 8 days has past

I think I'm not suited for eyelash extension, after 1 week, many of my eyelash on my left eye has dropped even though I spent a lot of effort in trying not to come into contact with water.
So after 1 week, I went back for a touch up. So I'm back with beautiful eyelashes again.

hur hur...not sure how long this time will last.

Eyelash Extension

For Christmas!!!

Many of my female colleagues are doing eyelash extensions and I decided to hop onto the bandwagon. I did mine at Suntec The Prestige Eyebrow and Lash Specialist for $200 (2 times visit)

Took about 30 mins to have all my new extensions on. The beautician was quite deft with her hands. No pain and was very quick. 

After application, next 6 hours to avoid water. No washing of face with water directly, have to use cotton pads which I endured for the next 2 weeks. Washing hair was a chore too...had to prevent water from dripping down my face. I literally had to bend backwards, tilt my head backwards too while washing my hair. OMG. very effort everytime I wash my hair.

No wonder they say 没有丑女人， 只有懒女人。
