We had a lovely dinner at UNA, a romantic spanish restaurant located at Alkaff Mansion.

Dinner with Hubs at Jalan Kayu

 

Now that I have moved to site for site meetings, hubs found us a dinner place at Jalan Kayu. Now almost every Thursday dinner we would here, trying out new foods. Today, we are having our dinner at Tenderbest.

Ramen Negi

 

Ramen Negi located at Suntec, on the periphery of the building where you enter the restaurant from outside. I always like my ramen spicy while hubs will have his normal style.

There is abit of tweaking allowed to your noodles done - soft, medium, hard. What kind of soup broth to choose, vegetables etc. I think it is not bad, but I would not make an effort to go there if I'm craving for ramen as I still love Ippudo and Nantsuttei ramen to be honest.

The Social Place

My cousin went to this Dim Sum Place at Forum and I was so intrigued by the jelly pink pig that I had to come and visit here myself with hubs. The food is not food and I really loved the sweet sour pork on a bed of ice!

La Zi Qi aka spicy chicken cubes was quite savoury too, mala mala. 

The mangosteens were passable, although very presentable in their tall cage. Hubs love the fried tofu, I think it is not bad.

Valentine's Day

 

it is a monday, no special plans, worked in the office and had a lovely ramen dinner with hubs before going home to find a little handmade pair of earrings from hubs!

Lunar New Year Day 4 | Pengcai and going over to Mervyn's place

 

Happy 4th day of the Lunar New Year and it is Friday already!

After Siafern and Joey left, hubs started on his pengcai, or yipingguo. Whatever it is, it is a pot full of goodies!!! Home baked roast pork, broccoli, flower carrots, mushrooms, beancurd skin, roasted chicken, tiger prawns, baby abalones and a rich chicken stock.
