Lunar New Year Day 4 | Siafern and Joey pays a visit

 

Setting up my table for chinese style hotpot. Waiting for Joey to come with the prawns. I've the beef and chicken shabu shabu already defrosted in the fridge.

Bought Yu Sheng with salmon from NTUC which I find very affordable and yummy. The sauce given is just the right amount of tangy sweet sauce, the salmon is also very fresh. If you are wondering where to find it, it is usually located at the Sushi section. And I asked hubs to cut some abalone up for our hotpot later.

and so many new year goodies that Sia Fern brought over, but my tummy was so full from the hotpot!

We finished 2 bottles of red wine, some gin and tonic and whiskey.

I was so excited to having the gals over that I prepared a little too much food. I had salad, Kueh Pie Tee, fried bee hoon, chicken curry and baked prawns.

Because of COVID and need to see loved ones, another colleague of mine is returning home to her family.

Dinner and Dance

 Got invited to a supplier's Dinner and Dance at Raffles Hotel and I won a $30 Takashimaya voucher!!! So lucky!
