Crab Feast at Melllben

Heard quite a bit about this little seafood restaurant in Ang Mo Kio so I decided to check it out! Online, they are well known for their butter crabs and crab beehoon and many have to Q at least 2 hours during peak hours.

we ordered 2 crabs done in butter and claypot beehoon soup style. Each crab was $50. Prices quite steep considering that my crab at Jumbo or Long Beach Seafood usually cost $50 too! And this place is under a HDB.

The waiting time was quite long considering that we arrived very early and it wasn't full house yet. But nevertheless when it came, WAH! The claypot crab beehoon soup was really good! The soup was very wholesome, the crab was fresh, did not stick to the shell and came off very easy.

The butter crab was equally good too, although i thought it was a dry dish but it came wet with buttery sauce!

All-in-all, I think if I'm ever craving for claypot beehoon crabs, this is the place to go for sure!!
