MARCHing new shoes!

This is a classic one from Charles and Keith with its signature big and bold ribbon and has been my favourite of all time for about 2 semesters aredi!!! (they have denim, gold and bronze) But becos of my status as a student and no income coming in, that's the reason why i prolong my agony. Finally i can buy it with my own cash and somemore on sale!!!! or rather ask wj to pay for me first since i havent gotten my new debit card yet. Yes, i'm still the poor ole ve!!e with no 'C' s.....*sob sob* Now selling at $23.90.

this is similar to the snakeskin formal shoe which i bought, dunno why cant seem to find the exact one on their website. Although i did think of buying this croco one too...but i resisted. This pair was going at $27.90.

This is a Peep toe ratten wedgies with woollen flower (so cute!) on side...quite comfy when i first tried on, the pink one was abit too gross, the green one looks weird and so the brown one was the safest...i reckon should be okie for shopping on weekends. Dun want to be always confined to wearing birkies everytime when i shop...so short. Want to be as tall as possible.
WOW ...next i saw these 2 BIG FEET girls trying on the shoes, whoa piangz they wore heels for shopping, needless to say, their bunions were red and swollen, and after they bought their C&K shoes, they put it on immediately... then i told wj, at the rate they are going, their bunions will become really huge next time, and then they will not be able to wear pretty heels anymore. Then they will cry man....hahahha.

Whatz wrong with them?

i better find something in the post box today man if not, im going to complain to "Love is Everywhere" HR dept!!!!!

Firstly, they didnt even inform me that i was shortlisted into the finals. OKie i will let the matter rest since i'm in it...but imagine if my sis didnt see the ad on tvmobile, i wouldnt even have a freaking clue that i was IN. and i wouldnt have ask my friends to vote for me!!!!

Secondly, just recently cos i had some spare time on my hands so i went to the website and found that i actually won the contest and AGAIN!
these idiotic people never email me at all!!!! what's up with them???

SO I BETTER RECEIVED A SNAIL MAIL FROM THEM SOON on my winnings! if not i'm really going to COMPLAIN.

Fabulous Weekend!

Saturday and sunday were very eventful and fulfilling! The whole of orchard road was on sale! must be the post chinese new year sale. The famous local shoeshop = Charles and Keith and clothesware = BYSI were all on sale! Brought mummy and daddy for a walk around town and i bought myself 4 dresses from BYSI and 2 pairs of shoes! Shucks! i was quite a late bird so there were a few designs that didnt have my sizes anymore.... *sob* i went to quite a few outlets aredi to check on the availability(citylink, marina sq, wisma, plaza sing) wj was so amazed with the sale! and so was I, the citylink C&K shop was crammed with ladies and small piles of shoes were scattered everywhere! But who can blame all these ladies with prices starting as low as $10! Even i was tempted into buying a few pairs (2 okie...a wedgie and a peeker-boo one, really neat! snakeskin type!) There were many who bought like 5 pairs and above!!!! (O_o) I think for the next few days, i will see many happy ladies dressed in sama sama shoes and sama sama clothes. *glup* i think i might be one of them!!!! *eeks* And i even shop at OG!!!! ( if i ever offended anyone, i'm sorry cos my mummy always shops there...so i kind of think only mummies and aunties will shop there....) And OG had sale as well! and i bought a GUESS jungle print bag!!! Very bling!!! SO excited although wj was asking me....

'er...are you going to bring this to work?...'

and here's a short conversation which i overheard last weekend

boy (both hands carrying 2 bags of C&K, think there were like 5 pairs) : ok darling, the other outlet has reserved the shoe for you already, just have to walk over there to collect. Is there anything else you want?
girl: hmmm.....no bah
boy: then we go there to collect now?
girl: hmm...yah.

i was so envious!!!! \(>_<)/

an afternoon at cafe cartel

actually there's nothing much to comment about cafe cartel except...let face the facts. It's cheap and affordable sort of italian food and a break away from the food centres which we frequent like everyday during lunch hour. Truly, there are so many dishes in the menu which resembles the local char kuey tiao and hokkien mee! It has become a fusion of singapore cum italy cuisine that doesnt seem to appeal to me at all. Firstly, the soup was diluted, the coffee/tea was thin to the core. The spaghetti, thank god was edible and fortunately our baked rice was covered with lots of cheese to make up for the lack of authenticity.

i guess what cafe cartel's niche market is targeted towards tertiary students who can afford such luxury in their pubescent lives and allow large gatherings to occur. And of cos adjusting to local tastebuds needs.
