Saigon Day 02 Dinner@Quan An Ngon

Quan An Ngon is one place to visit to sample local delights. It is set in an atmospheric old French villa. (Very similar to our Dempsey area). Very crowded and people starts pouring here after office hours. It was a place where the locals and foreigners would gather for HCMC's finest local fare at affordable prices.

News has said that the owner scouts for the best streetfood to be brought into the restaurant and set up the "hawker" concept. Outside of the villa, in the garden lines a row of "stalls" with cooks for you to order! Of cos you can take the regular way of asking a waitress to take your order as well.

And it has been enthusiastically recommended in the New York times.
