Here's a snapshot of us doing our first white water rafting together. Mr goh has, of cos done it previously but WITHOUT me. SO this is officially our first one.
We got the half day tour from one of the pamphlets from the airport. And it's called Bahamas Tours. It's $30 USD per pax which covers bringing you from your hotel to River Ayung+ full set of gear which includes paddles, helmet and of cos LIFE jacket + lunch is provided too and of cos a ride back to your hotel.
it was a 10km ride down River Ayung (approx 1.5hr thereabouts) and there were splashes and even a bumpy ride into the waterfalls! Yes the guide meant to do those nasty tricks to us. Splashing water, buming our raft into rocks and glide down swift rippling waters. That's what they do best.
overall, i thot the ride was pretty mild. Fun enough for kids but not roller-coasting thriller for me. I wished it was more exhilarating though. sigh. Dying for more thrill.
