Day 04 Part 01 > LongShanSi

Another new day! and today we are visiting one of taipei's most popular temples in the city...and it's called Long Shan Si. Many devotees actually come here in the early morning to pray and ask for favours. So we woke up early too and had breakfast nearby...

quite crowded by the time we got there which was about 10am only!

ornate carvings on the pillars...and lots of incense smoke swirling up to the skies.

After walking and inhaling all that smoke, we went for a coffee break to doodle our journey in taipei.

After we gotten our rest, it was time to head off again. This time it's to Miramar Ferris Wheel. This mega big wheel is seated at the podium of a shopping mall which provides free shuttle service from the MRT.
But sincerely i think this visit is not worth coming, the shopping mall was too far away from the city even with the shuttle service, and it wasnt 'lively' atmosphere or had neither shops to window shop..not interesting or worth lingering. Wj and i both agreed that it wasnt worth the money to take the ride up to see the view of taipei...so we just took some pictures and made our way back.

to be continued....
