Taipei Day 03 Part 01- Yehliu 野柳

Breakfast was along some alley way where we bought our beef noodles last night. Already there was a queue forming, many were taking take-aways. They serve all sorts of sandwiches, toasted on all sorts of bread types with many fillings and sauces to choose from! no wonder it's such a hot favourite and there's takeaway soya bean milk too. Best of all, the price is affordable.
Since WJ and i are both on holiday, which means...WE GET TO CONTROL OUR TIME! this is all about free and easy...WE WILL PLAY BY EAR like what our MR goh lurves to do...SO, we decided to eat there and rest before making our first stop of the day!

After breakfast, took the MRT to a station and walked to the bus terminal to catch a bus to Yehliu. The journey took approx 60mins or so. Weather was cooling. By the time we reached the town, it was late morning and by gosh! it was a sleepy town!!! nobardy at all! Half the time we were wondering did we get off at the right stop.

here's us and the location map in the town, thank god for it, thus we knew that we were indeed at the right place afterall, there was NO SIGN of any tourists!!!!

Above:
see what i tell u, nobardy on the streets...and after walking about 15-20mins from the bus stop, we have reached the Geological Park!

wj is buying our tickets over here...and WE ARE IN! wah! so huge this place! and just beside the coastline, getting abit chilly...

ahren's very excited too!

ah ren's looking at the shallow tray rock! so huge and deep...care for a dip??? Ritey, of cos not. In those shallow tray rocks, we saw small crabs and fishes swimming! how cool is that!! a natural habitat for sea creatures!

rites, even though it was chilly morning, but there was so much climbing to be done! phew! wj and i were both getting hot!

these are called Candle rocks...cos erm again, the resemblances...no need for more explanation bah.

many many little people.... a general guide to how huge these rocks are...

And we are off to see the Queen's head! which is of cos the highlight of this entire Geological Park!

"weee...." screaming from the top of my lungs!

Taduh! and we are posing together with the magificent Queen head, bet it will break one day, so slim that neck!

and that's me walking near the 'lover's cave' GOSH is that what they did in the past? in the cave???eewww..... okay, it was so hot that my feet were getting itchy and this stupid mr goh had to take photos of me (without me knowing) taking my socks off!

ahren's looking all smart in his smashing sweater! See, he's quite a poser...haha just like his mummy.

'Bang!' and off we go for lunch! Ritey, lunch's pig's blood! (which is almost non existent in SG already and more braised meat rice!)
