Very Herbally tasting soup with bland soy sauce rice. Yucky and hard as hell, had to grind it with my molars to swallow it down. I only managed to finish 1/4 of my bowl and wash it down with soup. Duck was tough, stringy, not succulent and total opposite of tender. Taste was so-so, not savoury, no ommph at all. Chilli was not fantastic and they didnt even give a bowl of sauce for your rice.The only thing which pass the mark was the soup. Wasnt thick nor thin, right amount of herbs, colour was okay. But truly it's not worth coming back. For pricing, a small plate of duck meat for 2, plus 2 bowls of stoney rice, complimentary soup but no sauce, a few pieces of cucumbers cost us a whooping $12!!!! which means $6 for one pax!!!!
I wonder why it has accolades for its duck rice at all when neither the bird or the rice tasted good.
