Lunch at Crystal Jade

Crystal Jade Yu Sheng 鱼生.
Their Yu Sheng has no green! Totally no speck of green can be found in this dish. I thought there were suppose to have some cucumber shreds and green pickled thingy yah?
But at Crystal Jade it's totally being replaced by fried taro strips and carrot.

The taste was ok.
But I still miss the crunchiness of a cucumber.

Hokkaido Day 7 - Last day

here's me saying GOODBYE Nijo Fish Market and just behind me is Li Xiao Lu 1狸小路.

A cutter to cut your corn!

and i bought 2 pieces of cloth approximately 3 metres from Marimekko

momo, moving our luggage in the cold snowy weather
ramen street in the airport where we had our last bowl of Hokkaido Miso ramen.

Hokkaido Day 7 - Morning Nijo Fish Market

Nijo Fish Market where it's more catered for tourist, but nonetheless, i see locals here eating the donburi.
And although I didn't do any research on which store to eat, but i let my eyes do the walking!
I found this quaint little store on the insides of the market where locals, students and some tourists were eating this humongous scallop together with donburi sets, I just knew this was the place to eat something good!!!!

here's what hubs ordered: salmon sashimi with tamago

and we ordered a scallop each

here's mine!!! triple combi of salmon sashimi, roe and sea urchin which was so smooth, buttery, fresh and melts in your mouth!!! If my stomach had more space i would have eaten another bowl just with sea urchin only.
and there's free wifi here too while you eat, snap and upload your photos to facebook, twitter or blog.

here's how the shop looks like on the outside.
think it's called Donburi Chaya.

Hokkaido Day 6 - Shopping in Sapporo!

one of the local Hokkaido Shopping malls here, cheaper than the city shopping malls. Momo brought us to eat here for dinner last night, but hubs and I went shopping instead because we already had our Ramen dinner at BIC camera.
This is the famous Li Xiao Lu to buy your snacks, souvenirs and candies. We bought quite a bit here but couldn't compare to the uncles and aunties.

Maruimai is another upscale shopping mall, well considered upscale in Hokkaido! it sells international brands and the local Burberry Blue label. So girls if you are interested in buying Burberry Blue Label, here's the place.
Went into a pharmaceutical shop and bought HAKU facial products. Not sure of how good it is but since I'm here, might as well buy some to bring home and try. It's supposedly to be some number  one brand here! and bought Kai eyebrow scissors and some other small knick knacks.

so we back on track to locate Tokyu Hands, where hubs want to find some leather tools and leather to buy.
Here I bought 3 small scale rulers for colleagues, fricton pens which i really adore at this moment in time... erm what else...I think that's about it, the rest are all hub's stash.

remember to claim your tax refunds once you spend more than $3000 YEN folks!
and the tax refunds are to claim from the shop and not at the airport, so remember to bring your passports when you are going shopping.
