welcome to Langkawi!!!we took budget airline: AirAsia to Langkawi, Malaysia for a quick getaway.

We are staying at Kuah Town cos we decided that we wanted to do some sight seeing and not just bumming by the beach side. And also Kuah Town offers massages, shopping centres, eagle square, late night suppers ie think lots of seafood!!! and at cheap cheap prices too!
We ended up staying at a budget hotel called Azio Hotel. Clean and the front desk lady was very friendly. Helped us to get a rental car too. We paid quite a bit for the car since it was the festive season. Anyway, with the car, it was really easy getting around Langkawi since there is only a few major roads here, so you needn't worry about getting lost.
